Sometimes you can get current items cheaper than in the catalog. I sometimes wonder if people would buy stuff for Jess, for example, if they had a Paypal balance and wanted to hide the purchase from a spouse.

Generally, my paypal money is my fun money. I spend the money guilt-free. DH & I don't hide purchases, but I know couples that do.
